Quick heads up!

Congratulations, hump day is all over and tomorrow is Friday eve, chaahooo! How’s business? Usual spiel – GST time again for the guts of you. Can you please have your Xero reconciled up to date by Friday the 3rd of August? We’re pretty keen to get cracking on your GST return. So, If you’re still dragging the chain come Monday, we’ll give you a hurry up.

Xero Expenses

Xero is continually rolling out improvements to its software and all-in-all they’re geared to create efficiency and “make business beautiful”. They’re also rolling out a price update which is coping a bit of flack.

There’s currently a few glossy releases going on with some really useful new tools. One of these being the new Xero Expenses module. Rather than have us undersell this, why don’t you watch this short video and you’re up to speed Xero Expenses

The key points:

– You’ll have a Xero email address you can send bills to, or take photos to submit them
– Xero will have a bit of jargon called an OCR meaning it can ‘read’ the bills and create draft bills in Xero automatically
– There’s no opt-in/out and it’s free until 28 September 2018
– After 28 September Xero plans are increasing by $5 per month, (there are a few finer details on this if there are a lot of users), your fixed fees/AP’s/DD’s will increase in line with this
– We’ll continue to pass on the 15% discount on Xero
