Believe it or not, it’s Mum’s birthday on Monday the 2nd of October and she’d love nothing more than for you to have your Xero reconciled. Part of that might be a bit creative, but why not roll with it, for Mum’s sake, get some brownie points and have your Xero reconciled by Monday?

We’re half way through the financial year, and before you know it Christmas will be done, incredibly, we’ll be a bit fatter, and we’ll be into the next year. Now’s a good opportunity to check yourself, take stock and assess if you’re on the right track to achieving your goals for the year. Is your glass half full, are you half empty, or do you have no clue and no care because you’re just too bloody busy?
One of the hardest things to do as a business owner is work on your business when everything in your business is demanding your time. Simply having someone to hold you accountable and see you achieve what you set out to is valuable. Oddly enough, this part of an accountant’s role is often overlooked – start changing it and use us.
